Welcome to Harla Designs

Harla Designs was founded in February 2024, during one of the most transformative seasons of my life, becoming a mother. During that time, I found myself drawn to premium children’s clothing; pieces that felt elevated, beautifully made, and special, but often out of reach while living on a small maternity leave income.

Dressing my son in pieces I loved brought me so much joy, and I knew I couldn’t be the only one who felt that way. Harla Designs was created to offer that same premium look and feel, in a way that is genuinely accessible to more mums, without compromising on quality, comfort, or design.

From the beginning, intention has shaped everything we do. Sustainability is not an afterthought, but a foundation. We prioritise organic and eco-friendly materials, thoughtful production, and responsible sourcing. Our approach considers every stage — from fabric selection and non-toxic dyes to waste reduction and fair, ethical working conditions.

Durability is equally important to us. We thoughtfully incorporate a small percentage of stretch to enhance comfort, longevity, and everyday wearability. Our pieces are designed to hold their shape, wear well, and be passed down, something I’ve experienced firsthand, sharing pieces from my first son with my second.

What began at home in Brisbane has grown into a brand supported by a loyal and ever-growing community. As we enter this next chapter, we’re excited to offer Harla Designs to families internationally, something that once felt like a distant goal, now becoming a reality.
